The Targem Games indie publishing and Chudo-Yudo Games studio present the major Visual Remaster update of the Folk Hero. The update includes a comprehensive overhaul of the game’s visuals and technical upgrades. Along with the update, the game is also released on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles.
What changes were made
The Visual Remaster update overhauls the game’s visuals:
- Color correction has been reworked;
- Unique color filters have been added for specific scenes;
- Key locations, including the Beach starting location, have been improved;
- Individual points of interest have been improved;
- The interface, visual effects, and sprites have been updated;
- Additional optimization has been performed;
- A number of known bugs have been fixed.
The updated version is already available on Steam, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation.
Folk Hero on PlayStation
Along with the Visual Remaster update, Folk Hero became available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The console version now features controller support, allowing players to explore Buyan island, battle its inhabitants, and play through the game in a convenient PlayStation format.
The release includes all the key features of Folk Hero, including constantly changing locations, diverse challenges, and the ability to combine weapons and artifacts to create different tactics. Each new run offers new challenges and new opportunities for island exploration.
