Star Conflict: Burrownauts — New roguelite featuring mining set in a familiar universe

Targem Games is announcing Star Conflict: Burrownauts, a new action roguelite set in the Star Conflict universe. The game explores the familiar universe through new gameplay: travel to ancient planetoids, mine rare resources, upgrade your machines, and defend against waves of space enemies.

About Star Conflict: Burrownauts

Humanity left Earth long ago in search of a new home, but colonizing the galaxies turned out to be far from simple. Resources are becoming more expensive, and their extraction is tasked to the space miners who are ready to venture to the corners of the space that no one else dares to enter.

You are one such miner in the Star Conflict: Burrownauts. Explore ancient planetoids, make your way to rich deposits, and collect rare resources. Use the resources you find to upgrade your drilling rig and improve your mining and combat ships.

But gathering resources is only one of your expedition goals. While you’re exploring the deepest layers of planetoids, your base may be under attack. Fight off hordes of space bandits, monitor your ship’s condition, and make it to the base alive despite all the odds.

See the familiar universe from a new angle

Star Conflict: Burrownauts preserves the connection to the original universe loved by many but offers the players the opportunity to explore it from a completely new angle. The game features familiar ships, technologies, and elements of the world of Star Conflict reimagined in the context of the new game cycle: resource mining, base upgrading, and dangerous expeditions. 

As you explore a new sector, you will encounter the remnants of forgotten civilizations and gradually learn more about the world that exists outside the established routes.
